The people of Haiti need us.

The world wide community of Peace, Love and Fashion are being called to serve humanity.

Here are a set of certified groups that are doing what they can for the fallen country:

Yele

The Canadian Red Cross

World Vision Canada

The Humanitarian Coalition

Médecins Sans Frontiéres

Plan Canada

Samaritan’s Purse

The business of Calgary Fashion is based on a disciplined love for fashion. We believe it is very important to raise awareness as well as encourage and promote independent thought and action.

Many in the fashion industry have realized that a certain formula of black, white and “cool” is enough for the industry to refer to a person as a “fashionable” member of society.

However, fashion and being fashionable is about heart. To be fashionable is to celebrate independence of self and style beyond industry standards and norms.

There are several ways you can lend a hand to Haiti. The simplest action can make a difference, which means online support, telephone support, donations via text messages, enhancements to your Twitter pages or changing your Facebook status to inform others can help encourage family and friends to make an action.

Support for others is one of the loudest fashion statements a person can make.

How you choose to help Haiti is your own fashion statement and a glamorous addition to your style. The reward for lending a helping hand presents a lifetime badge for your heart, which we know to be the best fashion accessory mankind can ever acquire.

Please, take a step back, think about this and make an action.

Peace, Love and Fashion.
