On October 17th, 2009,Vancouver Fashion Week set it’s sights on some of Calgary’s up and coming designers. The fashion week, hosted a night of glamour at the Whiskey Night Club giving 9 designers a shot at runway stardom. Designers would be competing for a chance to show their Spring/Summer 2010 collection at the international affair next week Nov 3. – Nov 8. 2009.

After the launch of her S/S 2010 collection, Maria Orduz Pinto of Solsticio designs would return to the runway with an edited version of her collection shown previously at Alberta Fashion Week. The Solsticio designs picked,would show a more cohesive collection. The longer hemlines made for tasteful viewing of Solsticio.
