It seems as though when it comes to Victoria Beckham, you’re either a lover or a hater. I for one happen to be aboard the Beckham train. I’ve often thought if I ever had the chance to meet her, we’d become best friends.
Anyway, The Financial Times’ weekend magazine, FT Magazine, has published a very insightful interview with her, ‘Victoria Beckham: Fashion Designer’. For someone with such a strong public identity like Victoria Beckham, initially being wildly famous as Spice Girl turned pro soccer player’s wife, it is extremely difficult to be seen and respected as and for anything else other than cashing in on one’s fame once that identity is entrenched in mainstream society.
However her fashion lines, Victoria Beckham and the most recent ready-to-wear line Victoria by Victoria Beckham have made it well past the trial period to entering the realm of fully-respected contenders in the industry. Read the full interview.
