CHARLIE & Co.’s creative director, Charlotte Revilo, is an astonishingly private designer. This sensitivity is a result of her extensive travels as a child and ironically, also the source of her inspirations.
She explains demi couture is the fusion of customization with lean logistics. CHARLIE & Co. launched its demi couture collection with cotton dress shirts and is personalized in style with a signature fit where customers have the ability to determine the material, the design and the measurements they prefer.
There are a number of fabrics to choose from: oxfords, twill, herringbones to gingham in a variety of skittles. It’s like going to a candy shop without the guilt.
CHARLIE & Co. will evolve the demi couture concept into dresses, suits and even shoes.
I love the idea of user-generated design…Fashion 2.0! Mass production is literally becoming outdated. According to Oliver Leung, CEO of the company, Revilo’s approach to design is a glimpse into the future of fashion.
