JOE FRESH GRAND OPENING AT CROSSIRON MILLS

Simple and stylish are what makes Joe Fresh a favourite for all. We fell in love, when the line was first released in the Real Canadian Super Store. Now there is a flagship location in the all encompassing CrossIron Mills.

During the opening, the ladies were lined up waiting to try on the newest piece to add to their already bulging closet. While they were standing there, a suave man wearing a crisp blazer with a white collared shirt and jeans was making his way down the line enjoying conversation. This gentleman was none other than the charismatic Joseph Mimran, founder of Joe Fresh.

Having had the opportunity to interview him, which was filled with many laughs, it became clear, Joe Fresh, was destined to be here: “Calgary is an amazing city… Our first stores were here in Calgary. If you remember, when we first opened our Joe Fresh [in] the Superstores, it was really a Calgarian thing, so we’re rooted here in Calgary.” And who says this city does not have style? Mimran believes we do!

He discusses how the new space screams Joe Fresh: “It really does capture the brand essence, all the white with the grey and the natural wood, which is the nod to Canada, and then of course our Joe Fresh orange behind the cash desk … We’re really excited!” Opening a stand alone was also about having more room for the different wear available: Men’s, women’s, children, active and intimate.

CrossIron Mills may seem like a long drive, but keep in mind this one line by Mimran, when you start hesitating, “I love this store.” Enough said.
