PASSIONÉ’S GRAND OPENING SIZZLES WITH PASSION & FASHION

If you don’t get out to CrossIron Mills much then you are probably unfamiliar with luxury boutique Passioné. This fabulous clothing store carries the latest in men’s and women’s designer apparel along with every fashionistas favourites – Dolce and Gabbana, DKNY, Alice + Olivia, House of Harlow 1960, Free People, and L.A.M.B to name a few.

Forget about making the out-of-town trip to CrossIron Mills: Passioné has now moved to its new location on 17th Ave!

The shop’s new accessibility will make it much easier for fashion-forward Calgarians to experience exclusive designers from around the world found nowhere else in the city.

The grand opening reception of the new Passioné location took place Friday, May 6th, and even though it was rainy outside, it was sizzling hot inside. The evening was filled with a fashion show where models were wearing the latest styles and henna art, custom cocktails, prizes and even Vegas-style dancers were of the party. Not only did everyone shopped until they dropped, but 15 percent of all sales went to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Owners and operators Malika Rajani and Natasha Jiwani both carry strong fashion backgrounds. Rajani graduated from Parsons The New School for Design in New York with a diploma in fashion design and a bachelor in commerce. Jiwani holds a degree in women’s studies and fashion merchandising.

When asked what Jiwani is most excited about with the new location she said: “Stampede actually. We can’t wait for the ‘walk in downtown’ traffic to experience our store”.
