VICTORIA’S SECRET ARRIVES SAFE AND SOUND IN CALGARY WITH SUPERMODELS DOUTZEN KROES AND CANDICE SWANEPOEL

Ladies, forget driving the treacherous three hours to Edmonton and shopping online to purchase items from the famous Victoria’s Secret. You can now enjoy making the simple trek to Chinook Centre. Thursday, May 5th marked the grand opening where the stunning Angels, Doutzen Kroes and Candice Swanepoel, were in town to celebrate the occasion as well as sign autographs for their fans.

Calgary Fashion was able to ask Candice Swanepoel a few questions.

CF: How do you define your personal style?

CS: My personal style is really mixed. I like a little bit of rockin’ roll. I love a hippie vibe. I have a lot of … bohemian stuff in my closet. And then I like really feminine stuff as well. I’m very girly.

CF: Do you think that your roots, whether through your heritage or from places you have lived or have been to, have helped to evolve your style?

CS: Yes, definitely. I am inspired by so many different things. By every woman that walks past me on the street, you know. I’ll be like, “Oh, wow. That’s amazing!” I’ve travelled a lot to Brazil and that inspires me a lot as well. And my South African heritage too.

CF: What is your signature piece or look?

CS: A great pair of jeans. A great pair of leather pants. And combat boots, a kind of funky boot. And a sexy black dress.

CF: What do you enjoy most about the fashion world?

CS: …There are so many creative people and we get to wear for the most interesting people. Some crazy, some not…

The staff provide fittings for their customers to ensure the most comfortable and complimentary lingerie is purchased. Best of all, women can now enjoy the delicious perfume scents, body butter and make up from Victoria’s Secret. It feels good to be a lady!
