OBAKKI SPRING/SUMMER 2011 @ AZUL COUTURE

Obakki, a Vancouver based fashion label by Treana Peake, is one of the labels featured at Azul Couture Boutique. Originally from Alberta herself, Peake started the label in 2005. Focusing on Canadian-made, urban, easy-to-wear and effortless clothes for women. Obakki uses luxury fabrics from Japan, Italy and France with all production done in Canada.

Peake also founded the Obakki Foundation in 2009, with a focus on educational development and clean water projects. Supporting humanitarian causes in developing countries, mostly in Africa, the Foundation uses art and fashion to gain support and empowerment.

The Obakki Foundation Collection using fashion to raise funds and awareness features clothing, accessories, and a book that have one hundred per cent of proceeds going towards the Foundation.
