EVENT: The CORE Brings Stampede to the Runway

What:             Fashion Thursday: Stampede Fashion Show

Where:          Stephen Avenue, between TD Square and Bankers Hall

When:            Thursday, July 8, 2010 || 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.

This afternoon, The CORE (Calgary Eaton Centre/TD Square/Holt Renfrew) will kick off Stampede in style with The CORE Stampede fashion show. The show is set to happen on an outdoor runway created specifically for the show. Part of the FASHION THURSDAY, the fashion show will feature some of the hottest denim, urban western attire and chic styles in celebration of Stampede.

Combining the latest in women’s fashion with classic western favourites, Artists Within will showcase cowboy inspired trends from luxury retailers Holt Renfrew, Harry Rosen, Judith & Charles, Boutique of Leathers, Aritzia, Banana Republic, Urban and Browns Shoes. Judith & Charles from the founders of Teenflo will be opening at the CORE on Monday July 12^th with their first Calgary store.

Stylist Carl Abad promises to bring the hottest trends to the runway in this western themed show. Local TV Personality Erin Strate from SHAW TV will bring her own style and flair to the event as the emcee.

Swag bags will be given out to the first 100 guest at each of the two shows with discount cards, coupons and samples from CORE retailers.
