As the first model in a white jumpsuit took to the runway and pointed a gun at the audience, I couldn’t help but think it’s going to be fiercely spicy stuff.
Lethbridge-based designer Shelly Kanyo created the Fall 2010 collection in collaboration with her brother Andy Court. Kanyo on her blog reported they both were inspired by the idea of Italian Condoliers gone Country with a hint of espionage.
The collection had a moody yet playfulness tinge to it. There were two kicky dresses – one of them worn with a trench coat over it and one floral fluttery dress; striped shirts, black pants, high-waisted pants and short jackets.
This season the Kanyo/Court man is wearing utterly tight pants, a striped shirt and a black jacket. The highlight of the mens collection was the jumpsuit a la pajama style.
Can’t wait to see some bold men wearing it!
If it’s edgy, fresh and anti boring you want, Kanyo and Court are your designers for Fall.
